European Association for International Education Conference EAIE 2016
The 28th Annual European Association for International Education (EAIE) Conference was hosted in Liverpool, UK in mid-September 2016. Dr Gabriele Suder represented The University of Melbourne’s International Relations office at the conference, with colleagues from across UoM also attending.
The 2016 EAIE Conference facilitated networking and resource sharing for 5,200 attendees from over 80 countries, one of the largest event of its kind in Europe. One of the primary aims of the event was to enable higher education specialists with the expertise to build internationalisation within their institutions.The EAIE conference provides participating institutions and universities with a platform for strategic exchange. Dr Suder took this opportunity to meet with existing university partners to discuss matters relating to collaboration and network with representatives from other universities.
The University of Melbourne booth was part of the Australia Future Unlimited national stand, coordinated by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission.
