The University of Melbourne seeks to develop opportunities for joint programmes with international universities. The University’s Faculties, Graduate Schools and Institutes have responsibility for Joint Programmes.
The University also partners with a number of institutions for joint research degrees. The Melbourne Law School for example has a JD/ Masters in Law and Finance undertaken in conjunction with Oxford University requiring students to study 2.5 years at Melbourne and one year at Oxford. Faculties and Schools have oversight of joint programmes. The development of joint programmes is guided by University policy.
